Doctorate în Germania pe studii literare

Funded by the Excellence Initiative of the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Friedrich Schlegel Graduate School of Literary Studies has as its aim the supervision of exceptional dissertation projects on European, American, Arabic and Asian Literatures within the doctoral degree programme “Literary Studies”. The programme offers intensive and individual supervision of the thesis as well as coursework which consists of seminars on methodology and literary theory on the one hand, and seminars that focus on transferable skills on the other hand. Research conducted abroad will be part of the degree course.
Applicants who want to take up their doctoral studies within the graduate programme “Literary Studies” must have a completed degree (Magister/Staatsexa men/M.A./ Maîtrise or equivalent) with above-average marks in the humanities, preferably literary studies.
Successful projects must have a strong theoretical and methodological foundation and should develop a comparative perspective on language, literature, culture and/or media.
The Graduate School will award 10 Scholarships per year. In the course of the selection process, the selection committee will decide upon these scholarships. Scholarships are awarded for three years; however, continuation of the degree course as well as the extension of the scholarship is subject to a favourable
evaluation of the student’s progress by the team of supervisors at the end of each academic year.

Doctorat în Germania pe limbajele emoţiei

Funded within the Excellence Initiative of the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Graduate School of the Cluster “Languages of Emotion” has as its aim the supervision of exceptional dissertation projects pertinent to the research of the Cluster. The graduate school offers intensive and individual supervision of the thesis as well as a structured course of studies. The research of the cluster is dedicated to the complex interrelations between the use of signs/symbols, the transfer of emotions, aesthetic practices, mental dispositions and affective modes of constructing both personal and social identities the cluster. The graduate school focuses on the following research areas:
- the relations between affective phenomena and various representational media (language, sound, image);
- the artistic practices and poetics of (re)presenting/ shaping emotion;
- correlations between emotional and linguistic competencies (and their disorders)
- modes of emotion modelling at the level of cultural codes and patterns of social be-havior and identity.

Doctorat în Germania pentru studiul societăţilor culturale musulmane

The Berlin Graduate School Muslim Cultures and Societies funded by the Excellence Initiative of the German Federal and State Governments will admit fifteen PhD students to its doctoral program to begin October 1, 2009. Ten of these candidates will receive a Graduate School grant; the other candidates will be supported in their quest for funding.
The Graduate School investigates the plurality, changeability, and global connectedness of Muslim cultures and societies. It invites applications from candidates whose dissertation project fits one of the Graduate School’s Research Areas. Successful applicants will have a master’s degree in one of the disciplines represented at the Graduate School, with a ranking, where applicable, of above average.
The language of communication is English. Admission is for one year, and, contingent upon a positive evaluation after the first year of study, will be extended for a total of three years.

Fundaţia KAAD oferă burse de studii universitare (după semestrul 6.), postuniversitare şi burse de cercetare pentru creştini.
